Bringing Hope to Children with Cleft Conditions
In Somalia, cleft lip and palate are a major problem. Due to poor medical care, a lack of trained doctors and a lack of funding, children with clefts are often left without surgery. Thanks to the DCKH medical team, the Cuuke family’s life has changed completely thanks to the operation! Today, two-year-old Mohamed delights everyone he meets with his radiant smile! Mohamed’s mother says: “I am very happy about my child! I am very grateful to all the DCKH doctors and the Somcare Hospital for helping us!”
